In a surprising partnership that challenges usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Revealed
According to the formal release, "A mysterious meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous changes echo through the darkness." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret group.
The adventure concentrates on "strange experiments and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Transformations
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Bonus Features
Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana alongside multiple items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
