Netflix Selects Spot-On Star for Bon Clay in One Piece Upcoming Installment
The Secret Organization is poised to exert significant influence in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, even if the real showdown won’t take place until the third season, and a cherished, fan-favorite member has now been chosen.
The streaming service revealed recently that the skilled actor will appear in the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Mr. 2. The role has the ability to change into an identical duplicate of any individual they’ve made contact with with their dominant hand. The actor, who is gender non-conforming and prefers they/them pronouns, will play a version of that role reinterpreted as non-binary identifying, as opposed to as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, unlike the source material and anime.
The new cast member is joined by multiple new cast members tasked with bringing the group to the screen, such as leader the main antagonist, portrayed by the seasoned performer, Sophia Anne Caruso as a key member, and a familiar face, who also joins the cast as King Nefertari Cobra of Alabasta.
Even though the role is a key figure of the group, the character won’t appear until One Piece the third season. Given season 2 set to cover the Little Garden storyline, this represents a significant shift in the schedule of their first appearance, one that could signal additional alterations to the narrative framework.
Their mix of excellent comedic sense and deep sensitivity makes them a ideal selection for the character. Besides their latest vocal work in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and multiple awards for writing and starring in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, showcasing the range they’ll add to one of One Piece’s widely praised roles.
The streaming service’s real-life One Piece series is scheduled to come back for its second season on the tenth of March, 2026.
